The walk starts with a visit to Arthur's stone, here is the link for the history of it, https://www.goweradventures.co.uk/arthurs-stone/, which has great views of the coast. Then walk descends and goes through some woodland to the village of Penrice.
Here there is a nice church with a large grass area for a break (about 1.5 hrs into the walk). There is also the murder stone in the church yard.
The walk will then split with Rob taking the short walkers (5 miles) back to Reynoldston by a different route.
Dave will take the long walkers on to Oxwich where there is the chance for ice cream, coffee etc and can also eat their lunches on the beach.
The walkers then return along the beach, up through Nicholaston Woods, past Penrice Castle and then back to Reynoldston using the same route as the short walkers.
The long walk is 10 miles. The short walk should take 3 - 3.5 hrs, the long walk, 5 - 6 hrs, would be good to be ready for a 10 am start.
The drive from Cardiff takes about 1.5 hrs to King Arthur hotel where the walk starts, post code is SA3 1AD. Bring with you water, food, suitable footwear and waterproofs..
